we're trying to determine whether or not
a graph is symmetric to the X the Y the
origin graphically hoes so graphic come
on in here whoa let's go over to this
pink one yeah ho that pink is really
struggling what are we trying to do
x-axis symmetry let's see if that
happens this is my X yeah so if I fold
it does it lay on top of itself no so
it's not X what about why you're like is
this a problem of probabilities are
symmetric yeah sure there's symmetric
about the XS but around the y axis if I
fold it boom this guy he gonna oh and
those don't lay on top of each other so
it's not Y and what about origin origin
we flip it on the Y BAM and then we flip
it on the X BAM
it doesn't lie on itself so it's not
ordered is that higher spell origin I
even know whoa all right here to this
middle example if I flip it on the X mom
then no it doesn't lay on itself so it's
not X pardon this is why it's not Y if I
were to flip it on the X hmm
then it's a damn and damn it's not X but
if I flip it on
but flip it about why BAM come on pink
then it's here okay and then if I take
that and flip it boom pink pink pink
pink pink pink pink pink pink pink BAM
boom it lays right on itself yeah
so what I do I first flipped online and
then after it's gone X spam and it lays
on top of itself so this is origin
origin I don't know come on pink you're
gonna pull through this let's do this
one over here oh so if I flip it across
the y-axis they flip it across the
y-axis Shh oh so it's Y symmetry huh
what if I flipped it across the X if I
flipped it across the ice oh you're
working fine so hmm didn't want to get
the colors mixed up then flip it across
the exit lays on itself so it's X
symmetric but what if I first whip along
Y and then I flip or X I'm really liking
this one
it lays on top of itself so it's origin
symmetric yeah that's all three and we
see visually graphically whether or not
something is symmetric we're sorry the
number you have dialed is not in service
at this time
