I think The University of Kansas Health System is a great place to be seen for carpal tunnel syndrome,
because we have a great team.
We have a great team with a wide range of experience
in what we would call routine or complex nerve compression conditions.
Not everybody that thinks they may have carpal tunnel syndrome has carpal tunnel syndrome.
It may be nerve compression in the neck or
anywhere along from the neck down and down into the hand.
As we're a major referral Center for the state,
we see some of the more complex and confusing cases, when it comes to peripheral nerve injuries.
We also have a great team in neurology that can help us evaluate
with different types of studies that can help
sort out the particularly difficult cases.
